To the dreamy land.....

I jumped when a friend(from the good old schooldays-Vidhya Kini) ,an architect was designing a home and called me up to ask if I would be interested in designing cushions with shapes....like castles, butterflies and flowers for two beautiful young girls. And I was more than happy to do so....the color palette was to be in the family of purple and pink to co ordinate with the bed linen ,curtains and wall decor of their newly made room. I was given the freedom to select the fabrics and prints after being given the brief. And when you are given the freedom , it's fun....I picked up prints and played around with them and this is what I created at the workshop in cotton fabric. And to be frank, I really did enjoy it. It took me back to the time we were kids with dreams in our eyes. I made a few of these to adorn my room too.....do we ever grow up ?.....aha....I don't think so. There's always that child in us that we never let go .

Colors to brighten up your mood

You don't need to change everything in your space to brighten up ur mood.....all u need to do is add a few bright Colors by way of cushions, danglers, floor cushions, rugs.......not much ...just a few changes and see the difference...and the investment is not much either. If you have a budget constraint, invest in a few colorful solid color cushions to your existing one.  This is all it takes to make a difference and you will love it. See your mood change as well. Try it out. You could pick up a few shaped cushions as well to make a change to the regular cushions. What you see here are handcrafted in our workshop.
